Here we go again. Knee-jerk reactions resulting from decisions made by Queensland and Tassie have made it impossible for me and my team of musos and crew to get to the three concerts in Tasmania. COVID has nearly exhausted my energy to keep going at this point. The Tassie shows will be postponed again and we’ve now been able to secure new dates, but not this year, as I had hoped, but next February. We are deeply saddened that my audiences have, once again, been let down. I promise I won’t retire until my current commitments to you all have been fulfilled. On a positive note, in February the weather will be warmer and much more pleasant to go out at night than in the depths of winter! Please take care of yourselves, and I’ll see you along the road of song. For the new Tassie dates, click here: Burnie, Launceston, Hobart.
About John
It is hard to describe John Williamson and his music without thinking that you have left something out or underrated his contribution and achievements.
How do you sum up an artist who has captured a country in song and had such a successful career in one of the most cutthroat industries around? It’s an almost impossible task.
