My Dear True BluesOnce again, Meg and I, my musos and crew are left high and dry with COVID. I really hate disappointing so many people. After consulting with the venues today, we’ve been left with no choice other than to postpone the Taree, Newcastle and Port Macquarie concerts scheduled for this coming weekend. We’ve already found new dates and the concerts will be moved to later in the year. The way things are going, I’ll be performing until I’m 80, just to catch up! I know everyone is anxious at the moment, with some struggling to make ends meet. Listening to music helps, folks. The venues will be contacting everyone in the coming days about the changes and the new dates on the website as soon as the paperwork is done!In the meantime, I’ll be working on bringing some of the good old songs back into my ‘My Australian Stories’ concert tour coming up in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane starting on the 10th September this year through to mid October. They are already strongly booked after less than a week on sale. https://johnwilliamson.com.au/tour/?event_id=352Stay safe and well, folks, and I’ll see you soon.Johnno
About John
It is hard to describe John Williamson and his music without thinking that you have left something out or underrated his contribution and achievements.
How do you sum up an artist who has captured a country in song and had such a successful career in one of the most cutthroat industries around? It’s an almost impossible task.
