Welcome to Willoshed 2025. Once again, we look forward to welcoming you to John’s special place and our 9th annual Willoshed concerts. Apart from the intimate concert, you will be able to experience John’s shed with all kinds of memorabilia and quirky collectibles, his old cars and his ever-growing sculpture park.

Due to insurance restrictions, children under 12 years are not permitted, sorry.

The event includes a complimentary ongoing sausage sizzle and one complimentary drink (bubbles, beer, soft drink or orange juice. YOU’RE WELCOME TO BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS AND NIBBLES AS THERE IS NO ALCOHOL FOR SALE ON SITE. You will also receive a take-home memento from the day.

COST: $330 (plus minimal booking fee)

GATE OPENS: 12.30PM

CONCERT START TIME: 2PM.

EVENT CONCLUDES AT 5PM.

ADDRESS: Springbrook, QLD, in the Gold Coast Hinterland, about 50 minutes’ drive from the Gold Coast airport. The exact address will be made available to ticket purchasers.

PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON SITE for cars, 4WD vehicles, but not for caravans. If you have mobility issues please let us know and we can organise to take you from the carpark area to the concert venue. Otherwise it’s approximately a 500m walk through the property with lots to see along the way.

BUS TRANSPORT: We offer a return bus service from Mudgeeraba (about 45 minutes down the hill) from two different pickup points for an additional $25 per person return. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and are also only available from the 123tix site.

The pickup times and locations are:

11.45pm Laver Family Park, corner of Gold Coast Rd and Hardys Rd, Mudgeeraba (plenty of parking here) CLICK for map reference.

11.50pm Outside First Choice Liquor, (next to Wallaby Hotel, but no parking here). CLICK for map reference.

TOILETS: Toilets are on site including a disabled toilet.

WHAT TO WEAR: The weather is unpredictable, so make sure you have warm clothes and please wear sensible footwear. It is a rural property and the ground can be uneven, so high-heeled shoes aren’t suitable.

ACCOMMODATION: There is limited accommodation at Springbrook and no camping or accommodation on the property. If you’re looking for accommodation on the mountain, this might be useful.  https://explorespringbrook.com/places-to-stay/

MERCHANDISE: There will be merchandise available for sale, and possibly some rare items for auction. Cash and EFTPOS accepted (but no cash out). We may run a special auction each day of some item from John’s collection or perhaps an experience. John donates this money to Variety the Children’s Charity, of which he is an ambassador.
