On Sunday 10th March under two scribbly gum trees John married Meg, his constant companion for the past six years. After weeks of rain, Sydney turned on the most perfect Autumn day for their outdoor wedding in the native Australian bush garden at the home of friends on Sydney’s northern beaches. It was a small wedding, attended by their closest friends and families. John penned a new song for Meg’s arrival, which brought tears to the eyes of most of the guests and especially to Meg, hearing it for the first time. John and Meg have just returned from their honeymoon on a game park reserve in Africa and a small island off Mozambique.
