Hats Off to the Gympie Music Muster 2012

Although he has also performed there in previous years, John Williamson had good reason to enjoy this year’s Gympie Music Muster even more. In the latter half of August, John and Meg were participants in the NSW Variety Bash, a very special car rally that raises heaps of funds for children in need. Early on Sunday 26th, John left the Bash in Cairns and flew to Brisbane before driving to the Amamoor Creek State Forest Park. Here he was joined by guitarist Col Watson for 5.30 pm concert on a beautiful night in front of many fans, both new and old.

Later that evening, it was back to Brisbane for a brief nights rest before flying back to Cairns early Monday morning. He was then able to re-join the Bash before they completed their long trek to Bamaga in very far north Queensland.
