How y’going folks

The challenges continue for us all with Coronavirus, and my concerts through to the end of July have to be postponed. We’re continuing to work hard on finding new dates but Wyong, Canberra, Adelaide, Tanunda, Shepparton, Warrnambool and Bendigo are all now confirmed. The March concert in Perth is nearly finalised also. There are new concerts confirmed for Wagga Wagga and Renmark.

My 50th year will continue well into 2021 now, to accommodate these inevitable changes.

There have been some real positives lately, with the award-winning TV show for kids ‘Bluey’ using ‘True Blue’ in their recently released episode Dad Baby. You can watch it on ABC iView if you missed it. Meg and I (plus Meg’s daughter, Penny and her husband, and two grandkids) had a wonderful visit to meet the Ludo Studio’s team in Brisbane in early February for a sneak preview and to see how they put it all together.

I was also asked to be part of The Weekend Australian‘s ‘Isolation Room’, with a feature article in the paper today and also online: https://www.theaustralian.com.au/arts/music/coronavirus-heaven-is-a-place-on-earth-for-trueblue-aussie-legend-john-williamson/news-story/0e8c107b2d2f6db38d283bef4b4245f1

You can see me singing ‘Cootamundra Wattle’ out the back of the shed at Springbrook, overlooking the Numimbah Valley, for the article here: https://youtu.be/P1KFIAQDU8w

So, keep looking after each other, stay safe and don’t go out unless you have to and I will definitely see you along the road of song later this year and in 2021.
