How y’going folks,
What a busy year it’s been. The NSW Variety Bash is over for another year and raised in excess of $2 million net for the special needs kids.
With all this, I’m still most excited about the Willoshed concerts. I just love sharing my good fortune by having fans with me, overlooking the most picturesque Numinbah Valley. I assure you it’s only going to get better and better as we add more and more interesting things. One thing’s for sure; the sausages will be the best we can get for 2017! The joy of those who have been to the shed for the last two years lingers all year round as I tinker in my workshop. Now that we’ve caught our breath from the concerts this year, this newsletter is to let you know that our 2017 concerts are now on sale. Don’t delay in booking as these always sell out and quickly.
There’ll be more repairs coming up for the ute before 2017. The radiator and small fuel tank will need replacing, but that’s the Bash! It was too wet for a lot of the five days I was on it, but Meg and her new driver, Patricia, enjoyed some dirt (and a bit of mud) after Longreach. I flew out from Longreach to sing at the Gympie Muster. That, of course, was as wild and wonderful as ever. A big mob turned out.
I am truly enjoying playing with Matt Fell, on bass and mandolele, and Clare O’Meara on fiddle and piano accordion. The show really has a freshness to it now. AND, the new songs are still coming.
I’m absolutely rapt that the new 4 CD pack has been received so well. I’m in the TOP 10 of the major charts and number one on the Country Chart. Thanks, folks!
See you along the road of song.
